We went to the new Morton Ave. location. The food is absolutely delicious, the service is friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The dining room is clean and the decor pleasant though slightly bland. But I'll tell you, there's NOTHING bland about the food! It's delicious, flavorful, well seasoned perfection.
Went to Bogie's last night (3/18/16) and had a lousy experience. First they were out of roast beef and corned beef ( it was 6:30 PM). Our waitress was trying too hard, she was at our table every 2 minutes asking if we needed anything. The chicken salad was good and came with homemade seasoned chips. I had a mouthful of chips when the waitress asked if we were done with our plates, they were still full of chips, and she took our plates. We were going to order the cobbler but she had brought the check way before she took our plates. I used the ladies room, just an open toilet, like a home bathroom. I locked the door but a lady just pushed it open on me and there I sat. Realized after by the marks the lock didn't do anything. Forgot to mention there were plenty of tables so the waitress didn't need to rush us. I was there as someone quest so I didn't say anything but will be placing a call today.
Food was good
I went to Bogie's for breakfast today. I'm not going back. It smells stale, service was lousy, chef didn't listen to the waitress' instructions and make dry toast, didn't offer more coffee, dry biscuits and gravy.
