Their boss lady (I think named Julie..) is knowledgeable about the homes ofJacksonville (we were new in the area), but never warned us about the real issue with the old homes in small town Midwest. That is lead paint particularly along staircase and window frames typically found in the older homes in the area. Our one year old was diagnosed with lead poisoning because we were not aware of this problem...I am sure as a person originally from there, Julie was well aware of the risk. She never once mentioned it other than pointing out the standard waiver by the owner (which is probably not a true statement, but there is no way to prove that...). The law requires a test for radon but not lead, which is the real problem...This buying experience with REmax Jacksonville caused us a lot of grief.
