They dont know how to do their jobs. they socialize the whole time. they take 5 years to get one strep culture back. they said i would be able to sign out in 15 minutes an hour ago. very disappointed in their service. will not be going back and will not be sending my kids here in the future. jacksonville needs to get a handle on this hospital and their workers.
They treat you very nicely as soon as you walk in and they have good food and they have by the best rooms and I think its a good place
Do not work here and do not support this institution! I REPEAT, do not apply to work here. They are very subpar in meanings to Memorial quality. As a former Environmental Services employee I had seen a lot, I won't use names or such, but the amount of injustices done to the workers are awful. I'm not a disgruntled employee but someone trying to help earn others. I watched physical harassment occur to a female coworker who was afraid to tell, others urged her and one of the shift managers left it known to the management. When HR learned this, they kept the male employeee and even gave him more tasks that involved being around his victim. The same said harasser also verbally harassed a homosexual coworker all the time using slurs and hateful rhetoric. He physically attempted to intimidate this coworker too. Nothing was ever done even with reports. Later on another coworker, was physically clawed by a shift leader and even threatened with more if she told, she waited until an anonymous tip was given to HR, because she was so worried of rebuttal and the fact that the shift leader in question was friends with the evenings supervisor (who also threatened her and best friends with said sexual harasser) and manager. With witnesses all corroborating they fired the shift leader, but allowed the supervisor in question to return to being the superior, within three days she made up rumors publicly and openly about misconduct on the bullied employees.they fired the bullied employee without question and escorted her out, the victim! I was happy to leave shortly after too. Please heed this warning !
The behavior unit has good nurse and good helping when we need something. If I have to come back if I have too. I move away so I might not be one the unit again. I will miss you all. Thanks for all the help.
I have had times in the past were I said I would never step foot in this hospital again, today I found myself in a situation with my 17 year old son in which I had no choice but to go there. NEVER AGAIN!!! This is the poorest excuse for a medical facility. I have never in my life been treated so disrespectfully. Their staff has no empathy. They are rude and pathetically slow. They did labs on my son today. A hour and half later I had to go track someone down to find out the results and then they wouldn't answer all my questions. This was my last time EVER taking my son into this horrible so call hospital. I wouldn't give even one star for Passavant (Passaway as it's called in this area) if no star was an option.
