Sadly I had Escape do my make up/hair for my wedding last year. The reason I am leaving this negative review I reached out to the hairstylist several times to ask what went wrong on my wedding day, she has refused to answer. I also called and left a message at the front desk with no return call. I haven't sent her a message and I know it was read because she has an iPhone and it shows read. They showed up an hour late to start hair and make up on my wedding day. The main hairstyle/make up artist openly said the other girl that was supposed to come fell through and that's pretty sad seeing as though I paid around $700 to do myself and my three bridesmaids hair/makeup. One of my bridesmaids they had gotten so far behind she had to do her own make up. Casey's airbrush makeup tool kept breaking needless to say my wedding started an hour and a half late. Yes you just read that right and hour and a half late. I was humiliated as I was having the wedding on my property and it was nearly 95° outside we ran out of water to give guests because they had drank it all because it was so hot. We hurried through The wedding and skipped the majority of the photos just to get our guests and get us to the reception at Hamiltons because they were kept waiting so long. I was completely humiliated. I reached out to ask Casey what went wrong why was she that late, now right at a year later I have never received a response ever. So yes I am leaving this very negative review right here do not use them for your wedding when you need everything to run smoothly. Thinking back I am horrified. So many of my guests once reaching the reception left very quickly because they were soaked because they were having to wait so long in the heat. Needless to say my wedding day did not turn out as planned. I am a well organized person and this was the only thing that held up my day. I'm not going to say my day was ruined because I married my husband and I'm choosing not to look back on how unhappy everybody was because they were kept waiting in the heat so long due to the tardiness of the day due to escape salon. However I am very upset by how unprofessional this company is not to even return my call I even text Casey and she refused to reply. DO NOT hire them to do your wedding make up/hair.
I've tried to do a walk in now 4 times during business hours and everytime it isn't open or locked up. I'm not one that can always schedule an appointment so if it says opens at 10am I'd think someone should be there but no.
